The Class P certification program enables LED luminaire manufacturers to rapidly specify approved LED drivers with required performance and safety specifications, reducing the level of evaluation during luminaire inspection. Most importantly, it allows luminaire manufacturers to substitute approved LED drivers without requiring re-certification. This helps to reduce costs, increase purchasing flexibility, and bring new products to the market more quickly.
The EPtronics LNP25W, LNP30W, LNP40W, LNP50W, LP60W, LP75W, LP96W, LD120W, LD150W, and LD200W LED driver families are now part of the UL Class P LED Driver Program. Additional driver families continue to be added to the program on a regular basis.
